About Mariana Palova

Mariana Palova (Jalisco, 1990) is a Mexican writer, designer, and artist. Her artwork has been presented in more than seventy exhibitions in Mexico, the United States, South America, Asia, and Europe.

In 2015, she stepped outside of her artistic career to realize her dream of becoming a writer. Three months after self-publishing her novel La Nación de las Bestias: El Señor del Sabbath, the first in a saga, the Los Angeles-based independent publisher The Mage’s Lantern acquired the work for translation and publication in English.

In 2016, the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes (Mexico) honored Palova by recognizing her as one of the most representative artists of the state.
